In April, 2024 the teams of AUI and ClarityHR raised money for one of our favorite charities Friends of Stark Pound. Several members of our team have adopted their pets through this amazing organization. Julie and Danielle are fur-ever homes for two former Stark Pound rescue dogs.
With our combined efforts, AUI and ClarityHR were able to raise $250 dollars for Friends of Stark Pound in the month of April 2024.
The Mission of Friends of Stark Pound:
As a 501(c)(3) Friends of Stark Pound is dedicated to reducing the population of homeless dogs at the Stark County Dog Warden Department. Working in cooperation of the Stark County Dog Warden’s staff, Friends of Stark Pound strives to enhance the lives of homeless dogs by increasing their opportunities for adoptions or rescue groups.
Run entirely by volunteers, the Friends of Stark County provide funding for spay/neuter procedures and basic veterinary care for dogs. All while educating the public on the importance of adoption and responsible pet ownership in Stark County and beyond.

How Do Donations Help Friends of Stark Pound?
All dogs are spayed / neutered, chipped, immunized, and have their first month of heartworm and flea prevention. These services are subsidized by the Friends of Stark Pound. Adult dog adoption fee is $85 + $14 for the Stark County License and Puppy adoption fee is $136 + $14 for the License.

The Friends of Stark Pound Annual Silent Auction (Online), November 27 — December 1, 2024 Mark your calendars for November 27 through December 1, and get ready to bid on unique baskets, gift cards, and artisan items to make everyone on your Christmas list very happy! As with any Friends of Stark Pound event, 100% of every dollar raised goes to help the dogs at the Stark County Dog Warden Department shelter.
