AUI was pleased to support Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on October 5, 2024, at the Cleveland Browns Stadium as part of our 50 Years 50 Acts campaign. The event was hosted at the Cleveland Browns Stadium in downtown Cleveland. Thousands of people came to support fighters and survivors of breast cancer. AUI was pleased to support one of our clients’ teams for the walk. We love seeing our community support great causes like breast cancer. Way to go guys!
This non-competitive 5K walk brought together individuals and families from across Northeast Ohio. Together they raised critical funds for breast cancer research and support services. The event commenced at 9:30 a.m., with participants uniting to honor survivors, remember those lost, and contribute to the ongoing battle against the disease.
ACSEvents for Making Strides
The American Cancer Society (ACS) organizes Making Strides events nationwide. All events have a common goal to unite communities in the fight against breast cancer. These walks not only raise funds for research but also provide essential patient services. These services include free rides to chemotherapy and access to a 24/7 cancer helpline. In 2024, approximately 310,720 new cases of breast cancer were expected to be diagnosed in the United States. There is still such a need to support programs like this for fighters in our country. Until there is a cure, we hope everyone continues to support the American Cancer Society, and programs like Making Strides.
