The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program is a nationwide initiative designed to empower small business owners by providing education, capital access, and support services. Since its inception, it has supported over 14,500 entrepreneurs, helping them expand operations, increase revenue, and create jobs in their communities.
AUI’s own Chrissy Myers is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. She was chosen to give the commencement address speaker for the Spring class of 2024. It was an honor to congratulate the next business leaders in the Northeast Ohio community.

About the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program
The program offers a 12-week curriculum developed in collaboration with Babson College, covering essential topics like financial management, marketing, leadership, and strategic planning. Participants also receive personalized mentoring, peer support, and opportunities to connect with a network of fellow small business leaders. A notable benefit of the program is its focus on overcoming barriers like accessing capital and scaling efficiently. Graduates of the program consistently report growth, with 67% seeing revenue increases within six months of completion
