Every year Goodwill Industries of Summit, Portage, Medina, Ashland & Richland Counties honors employees from across our region with the Employee of Distinction Awards 2024. Local businesses nominate employees within their organization who have made a significant difference by going above and beyond. The goals are to let those employees know how much they are valued by their employers.
Our own Chrissy Myers served as an Event Chair for this year’s event on September 4th, 2024. We also were proud to be a sponsor. Collectively our team nominated A. Elizabeth Orley for the Employee of Distinction Award for her work with our organization. A. Elizabeth Orley has been our lead marketing resource for several years. She not only helps us with our marketing at AUI and ClarityHR, but she is also as passionate as we are about serving the community.
About the Goodwill Employee of Distinction:
This year the winners recognized for their outstanding service in their roles were outstanding. They came from several different local businesses and organizations. In addition to being nominated, Goodwill Industries chose them for distinction beyond the call of employee duties.
