First, we want to give a heartfelt thank you to Alice Rhodes for her board service to Choices Akron. Alice has been a valuable member of our team at AUI for more than two decades. Her service to our team is invaluable. We are so proud to have her continue to serve on the board of directors at Choices Akron. She has been a board member for the past three years.
The reason that Alice has chosen to give her service to Choices Akron is the level of care that they show for their members and the community they serve. Choices Akon encourages everyone to participate in the many programs that they offer and to stay involved in the community. Currently, 90% of Choices staff are members. Other members prefer to participate in lighter capacities.
Her background with our team has been helpful as Choices searched for a new Executive Director. Through this process we were sorry to lose Cynthia Duckworth, but pleased to work closely with New Executive Director BreAnna Pantzer. We cannot wait to see Choice Akron evolve under her leadership.
