In June 2024 the teams of AUI and ClarityHR collaborated with BVU on a mission to help Food Strong in Northeast Ohio. Together our teams helped to clean and repair the market, building, and helped to maintain the Food Strong urban farm. This amazing community garden is designed to cultivate fresh food for the community.
We were pleased to partner with the amazing group at BVU as part of their Action Day initiative at Coit Road Farmers Market *& Garden. This market has been an important part of Cleveland’s east side since 1932. They have a mission to provide affordable local produce to the residents of greater Cleveland.
What a wonderful event with 75+ BVU member volunteers. Our own Pam C. and Alice R. volunteered in the gardens and helped with cleanup. Thank you to both for supporting the community as part of our #50Year50Acts campaign.

Food Strong is on a mission is to utilize fresh local food as a tool to empower, educate, and cultivate health in communities across our region. They promote the cultivation, purchase and consumption of fresh, local foods while simultaneously providing linkage to the other vital services and resources.
